Location

IFCO 2016 European Conference will be held in Sheffield, UK. The original "Steel City", Sheffield is the 4th largest city in England at the heart of the UK with excellent transport links across the country by road or rail (i.e. it takes only two hours to get to Sheffield from London by train).

It is a thriving commercial centre and one of the UK's most fascinating cities from a cultural perspective, with an array of museums, galleries, leading theatres, and a varied music scene. Sheffield hosts world renowned arts festivals; it has the world famous Crucible Theatre and is home to some truly inspiring architecture.

Not only is Sheffield England’s greenest city, it is also the only UK city with a National Park within its boundary – today, a third of the city lies within the Peak District National Park, which is one of the most visited national parks in the country. It developed a reputation as the number one destination for outdoor enthusiasts with Peak District National Park close at hand.
